Soft Productivity

Productivity is about adding value to outcomes achieved and in the way work is done:

     and

Productivity can be measured in terms of Cost and Benefit
through both tangible and intangible measures.



The concept of productivity continues to evolve and relevant to all forms of organisation.

There are also a wide range of productivity methods available to add value at the:
      Organisational Level
      Process Level, and
      Role Level



In the table
Productivity System Matrix shown on this page a wide range of  "systems" based productivity methodologies are exampled.  These show that most are "hard" Human Designed productivity systems, and can be either internally, or customer focused.








Because
Proventive Solutions uses a Human Activity System (HAS) as the foundation for all its productivity methodologies, these productivity methodologies go beyond a focus on "hard" system activities to include "soft" social interactions that also affect the value of what is done and outcomes.  Refer to the Human Activity System diagram.

Soft Service Methodology

Soft Service is a Soft Productivity methodology that seeks to improve services to customers, through the quality and efficiency of internal operations.


The benefit of the Soft Service approach is that improvements are driven by focusing on meeting user needs and expectations, and through this focus the value of work practices and relationships in meeting (directly and indirectly) customer requirements are improved.  Customers can be "internal" and "external".  Refer to the
